Seminole Classic Casino Celebrates 35th Anniversary Sunday, December 14
HOLLYWOOD, Fla. (December 15, 2014) – Seminole Classic Casino, the first Native American Casino and high stakes bingo operation in the country, celebrated its 35th anniversary on Sunday, December 14. In honor of this milestone, the casino opened a new pit which hosts nine additional table games Saturday.
After upgrading and expanding its dining options in August to include Flying Cow and Eat Street, the casino has grown with more than 1,000 slots and 48 table games. Prior to that, the casino underwent a $25 million upgrade in 2013 that included a total overhaul of the existing ventilation system vastly improving air quality throughout the casino and an expanded gaming floor, and “The Loosest Slots in America,” a gaming area with a selection of more than 30 popular slot machines guaranteed to pay out the most often of their model of slots, anywhere in the country, as certified by Gaming Laboratory International, the world’s leading gaming testing laboratory and technical consultancy.
Owned and operated by the Seminole Tribe of Florida, Seminole Classic Casino employs more than 769 team members and has generated millions in annual spending for goods and services since its inception in 1979. Always committed to its employees, the casino is appreciative of its team members who have been a part of the Seminole Classic Casino family since the beginning, and have paved the way for 35 years of success.
The historic attraction’s general manager Larry Buck said the casino looks forward to many more successful years.
“We are very proud to have achieved this milestone, and hope to continue providing our loyal players with the ultimate gaming experience in the nostalgic casino they have grown to love,” he said. “We will continue to raise the bar for gaming in South Florida by regularly improving the quality of service and updating our slots with the newest, most exciting titles in the industry.”
