SEMINOLE CLASSIC CASINO 40TH ANNIVERSARY
On December 14, 1979, the Seminole Tribe of Florida opened a bingo hall that would launch a gaming revolution. 40 years later, we reflect on accomplishments, advancements, and triumphs that would not have been possible if it were not for Seminole Classic Casino. It all started here! Thank you to all who have helped us reach 40 years!
40th Anniversary Celebration Ceremony
To kick off our Anniversary weekend, a Celebration Ceremony was organized in which Team Members were invited to hear from key executive managment their vision for 2020 and beyond. Guest speakers included:
- Jim Allen – CEO
- David Carrol – Sr. Vice President of Human Resources
- Chris Osceola – Seminole Hollywood Councilman
- Edward Aguilar – Seminole Classic's General Manager
Several employees were recognized for their tenure at Classic, including one in particular that has been with the company since day one – Sharon Carrero.
40TH ANNIVERSARY BINGO
The weekend celebrations culminated to a bingo game in which one lucky player had the opportunity to bring home a brand-new 2019 Honda Accord. It began in bingo, so why not celebrate in bingo?
To truly honor our Anniversary, General Manager Edward Aguilar donated the first-ever winning bingo card to the Ah-Tah-Thi-Ki Museum. This piece of history will now be preserved among many other artifacts marking the achievements of the Seminole Tribe of Florida.
Team Member After Party
Of course no anniversary would be complete without a party! After the all of the hard work, Team Members were invited to celebrate with delicious food, games, a money machine, and prizes.
To everyone who has helped us reach 40 years, both Team Members and Guests, we thank you!
